i want to be free and i want to breathe without being hooked up to countless machines. i want to rip the ball from chain and find the anchor to put down in the sea, of faith  love hope, and all true honesty. the ocean waves trying to pull me under, oh i don't know if i'll stay afloat but time and time again i swim. and i touch the bottom then gasp for air because my lungs are filled with salt ill spit the taste of perfection out, and struggle to stay afloat. if the wave takes me while i can't breathe know my thoughts are circling how i'll prevent this ending if i need a life jacket ill surely take it while i can b

The bible sits in the unopened draw of my dresser. I kneel and close my hands in my lap, tilt my head back and wait for my soul to be taken away from me. So now I sit in the untouched field except of the imprint of my body, lying staring up at the sky waiting for the heavens to open up and crush my mind. The air is so thick, every breath is harder to take like sinking in the sea with every intent to become the sand. I'll become part of the sea, part of the field, part of something that isn't fake. Rose The rose, so apealing to the eye, i pick it up and i bleed dry. Funny how something so beautiful can make you cry, how something so innocent can be a lie. Nothing lasts forever, so all you can do is remember. The rose will wilt come this lonely december and all you can do is try and remember. You can watch it from your window sill thinking it will always be within sight, but the snow will come and cover it up, even if only for a night. it's fighting, it's dying, it's you bleeding dry. It pricks your fingers almost every night. There is nothing you can do, everything dies, at some point, everything sees the bright light.
